Megan Mullally has been a TV actor for over 30 years. She's one of the television's most popular and successful actresses. Megan Mullally (born November 12 1958) is an American actress, comedian, and singer. She portrayed Karen Walker on the NBC sitcom Will & Grace (1998-2006, 2017-2020) in which she was awarded eight Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Supporting actor in the category of Comedy Series winning twice in 2001 and in 2006. For her role, Mullally was also nominated and won many awards. This included a string of seven consecutive Screen Actors Guild Awards as Outstanding Performance by Female Actors in a Comedy Series. The first time she acted was in the McDonald's commercial that featured John Goodman. Her first appearance on television was on The Ellen Burstyn Show in 1986. She subsequently guest starred in sitcoms like Seinfeld's Frasier Wings, Ned and Stacey Mad About You Caroline in the City 3rd Rock from the Sun as well as Just Shoot Me!. She played the lead character in an episode of Murder She Wrote episode called Coal Miner's Slaughter. The actress recalled how in 2012, she hadn't had work in all those years, and she was in a panic because she didn't have enough money to pay rent. One day, I got a phone call from my agent, telling me I was offered a role as a guest, and it was going to pay me the sum of $5,000. The agent I spoke to one day and said that I had been offered an opportunity to play a guest. It was paid $5,000. I was playing an ex student of Jessica Fletcher. It was among my most memorable moments I shot. In 2003, after being earlier engaged to Michael A. Katcher (from 1992 until 1996), she wed Nick Offerman. She voiced in 2015 the character Grandma Linda on Hotel Transylvania 2. Her parents are Martha Mullally and Carter Mullally Jr. Mullally returned her home to Oklahoma City when she was just six. She is of English Irish and Scandinavian ancestry. She studied ballet from the age of six and performed at the Oklahoma City Ballet during high school. She also attended the School of American Ballet in New York City.
