Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri is an Indian actress who achieved recognition for her performance in the films Hum Aapke Haiin Koun and Beta Saajan. She first began her career as an actress in the 1980s. The actress became popular for the film Tezaab starring the veteran actor Anil Kooor. Her next film was the film Dil where she shared the screen with Aamir Khan. She was born into a Mumbai middle-class family and began dancing when she was a child. At the age of 15 began acting, but struggled as many of her movies were unsuccessful. She finally found success, and went on to be one of the most prominent actresses within the Indian film business. After her wedding ceremony, she took a short absence from acting until she returned. She was recently an integral part of Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit has received 15 Filmfare Awards nominations, of which, eight were awarded. Padma Shri is the fourth most prestigious civilian award in India. Her fame is based on her charitable work as well.
