Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His international success has seen his rise into the mainstream of Latin music. In the year 2017 his hit track from 2016, Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. In 2017, he released ADN the first of his long-players with La Industria Inc. in Medellin. It reached the number 8 spot in the Top Latin Albums chart. The following year, he teamed up with Ozuna to record Vaina Loca which reached number five on the Top Latin Albums chart. Mala Influencia came out as his collaborative effort with Noriel in the year 2020. In the following calendar year Dopamina was his follow-up album. Later in 2021 he performed a duet on TINI's smash streaming single Maldita Foto. 2000, which featured the smash hit La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo is a product of a family of musicians both his parents are musicians. According to him, musicality was a mandatory element of his existence. As a child, was playing the ukulele as well as piano. Though his original career plan was that of an animal veterinarian, his brother Julian encouraged him to start studying singing with the Cuban. This revolutionized his entire life.
