Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew growing up in Mexico with a family that loved music. She spent the majority of her youth listening to classical music, boleros from the past, classic ranchero or romantic songs and old classical pieces. Ana loves the opera and tango genres as well as all forms of dramatic performance. At age 16 she began singing and learning music with her mother. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started to provide her with more intense training in singing. Her musical education continued through the School of Music of Guadalajara University, and then the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. She performed at Guadalajara, Mexico City and other cities as a young scholar and professional. Following her move from Mexico to America around 2000, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She is currently performing classic Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. As an instructor and performer in the local area the passion for music and art keeps her engaged in a wide range of initiatives. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana thanks the Inland Master Choir for allowing her to perform traditional Latin American song.
